Accreditation and Professional Recognition

Staffed by state licensed mental health professionals.

Affiliated with and accredited by the Samaritan Institute. The Samaritan program is one of the country's largest providers of outpatient counseling services.

The American Medical Association recognizes the Samaritan programs.

The Association of Pastoral Counselors and the President's Commission on Mental Health recognized the Samaritan program.

Started By Our Community, For Our Community

Beginning as a "grass roots" movement in 1985, the Lincoln Samaritan Counseling Center opened its doors in 1987. This community outreach combines four unique qualities into its program: professionalism with state licensed and certified professionals from the medical, psychological and pastoral fields. Plus, a community support component helps those unable to afford the full cost of needed counseling services. The Samaritan Counseling Center is a non-profit, tax exempt 501 c (3) corporation.
